Whitestown is one of Indiana’s fastest-growing towns, and the families putting down roots here know a well-invested backyard when they see one.
Spend an evening over at Anson Park or take a weekend ride along the Big Four Trail through downtown, and you’ll notice what this community is all about: outdoor living and the kind of time together that actually means something. A deck fits right into that.
Choosing a deck builder is a real decision, not just a price comparison. Some contractors use cheap materials, disappear after the deposit, or leave you with something that starts falling apart within a few seasons.
The companies listed here have been reviewed and compared so you can see who stands behind their work, and who is worth calling first.

We built Decks On Point around one belief: your deck should still look exactly as good in year fifteen as it does on the day we finish it.
That’s why we stopped building wood decks altogether. Wood requires annual sanding, sealing, and painting, and most wood decks begin to rot within 10 to 15 years.
We work exclusively with TimberTech composite materials, which carry product warranties of twenty-five to fifty years. When we say this material holds up, the manufacturer says the same thing in writing.
We also stand behind our own deck installation with a five-year workmanship warranty. Loose nails, a crooked board, a post that’s shifted, whatever the issue, call us, and we’ll be there to sort it out.
Here’s what the process looks like when you work with us:
• We start with a visit to talk through your vision and understand how your family will actually use the space
• We build a detailed 3D rendering using professional landscape architecture software (design fees of $500 to $750 are fully credited toward your build)
• Most standard decks are completed within one to two weeks
• You get daily project updates and photos throughout the entire build
We’ve completed over 70 decks and served more than 200 Indiana homeowners, and we’re fully licensed and insured.
Decks start around $12,000, and you’ll receive a clear, itemized quote before any work begins. We also handle deck lighting installation, custom pergola additions, and structural assessments as part of our full build service.

At the end of the day, every contractor on this list can build you a deck. The real question is who you’d actually want on your property for a week or two, and whose work you’d trust to hold up through Indiana winters and summer humidity for years to come.
Decks On Point is local, fully insured, transparent about pricing, and specific about materials in a way that matters for the long run. Our 5-year workmanship warranty and the shift to composite-only builds are practical choices made by a team that has seen what happens when corners get cut.
