Have your deck done with a reliable pro that can guarantee your satisfaction
A deck should be more than just an extension of your home—it’s a place for family gatherings, summer nights, and creating memories.
Unfortunately, many handymen turned contractors cut corners and lower the quality of their materials for more profit, often resulting in decks that age poorly or fail to meet safety standards.
With us, you’ll get a reliable, long-lasting deck that’s also incredibly beautiful and safe, so you don’t have to sacrifice anything.

Why Composite Is The Best Decking Material
You only get the highest quality deck builds with Decks On Point. Learn what stands behind our building choices.
Wood decks
- Constant upkeep: You’ll need to invest a lot of time regularly on staining, sealing, and sanding the wood deck to maintain its appearance.
- Water damage: Wood decks absorb water easily, so you’ll need to watch out for warping, rotting, and mold growth over time.
- Fading & splintering: You’ll look twice before you step on your wood deck once the splinters start to show. Wood is more prone to fading and cracking.
Composite decks
- Easy maintenance: A quick wash is all composite decks need to look brand new for years. Maintenance won’t take up more than a couple of minutes.
- Rot resistance: Composite decks resist moisture, rot, and mildew because of their synthetic materials. Rainy seasons won’t be a bother.
- Long-lasting color: The composite deck maintains its color over the years without fading. Step confidently on a splinter-free surface.

Answering Your Common Deck-Building Questions
What type of materials do you use?
We use TimberTech composite decking for its durability, look, and exceptional warranty. TimberTech offers a high-end finish, is low-maintenance, and is ideal for withstanding the elements.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured, and our work is backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty.
Can you help with deck maintenance?
Absolutely! We will take care of all your deck maintenance needs, including deck staining and sealing, making sure your deck stays in top shape season after season.
Do you build wood decks if I’m on a budget?
We do not. We made the decision to stop building wood decks because they do not meet our standards for longevity and customer satisfaction. A wood deck requires annual sanding, sealing, and painting, and often begins to rot within 10-15 years. We only build with high-performance composite materials that come with 25-50 year warranties, ensuring your investment pays off in the long run.
Do you build wood decks?
Not at the moment. We moved away from wood decking since we want homeowners to enjoy decks that require minimal maintenance. Wood decks just don’t align with that goal as things stand, given their constant upkeep. We use composite decking since it’s more durable, has more design options, and requires minimal upkeep.
How long does it take to build a deck?
What’s the average cost of a deck?
Is there any warranty?
Yes, you’ll get a 5-year work warranty that covers everything we installed. If there’s ever any issue with the installation (e.g. nails are loose, boards are crooked, posts have sunk, etc). give us a call and we’ll be right there to fix it.
Please note that the warranty does not cover misuse or damage caused by forces of nature, like storms, wear and tear, strong winds, etc.
Why do you charge for a design?
Unlike a simple sketch on a napkin, we provide a full 3D rendering using professional landscape architecture software. This allows you to visualize the finished project, change colors, and see the layout before you commit to construction. This fee ($500-$750) is credited toward your final project cost when you build with us.
Can you help me choose the right color for my deck?
Absolutely! Homeowners often ask for my input, and I’m always glad to share my expertise. I will help you clarify what color fits the end result you’re looking for and make sure you get a deck look you are satisfied with.

With Decks On Point, you will have an amazing experience. They took my Timber Teck deck down to the dirt and rebuilt it in four days. Everything about them was top shelf! Their equipment, their tools, but most of all they’re diligent work and wonderful personalities. When they left my property, they seeded and fertilized and cleaned the deck, and it was as if no one had been here. Love these guys!!
